The Board approved and welcomed the purchase of 2,750,000 shares in Lincoln City Holdings by the Jabara Family.

Budget and business plan 2023/24 season
An updated budget was presented, which forecasts losses in the region of £3m, before any football fortune (player trading or exceptional cup) income.
- Pro Budget/Young Pro cost: To remain broadly static as per 2022/2023 although there were some significant transfer and sell-on fees generated last season to offset against costs;
- First Team/EPC operating costs: A near six-figure increase in annual expenditure has been budgeted due to supplier increases (travel/ hotel/ food /medical /pitch maintenance supplies) plus an increase in medical insurance premiums;
- Academy: A minor increase in annual expenditure due to supplier increases (hire of facilities/ fuel/ kit & equipment) plus an increase in medical insurance premiums;
- Commercial/Communications: A small increase in net profit is targeted. Included in this is the offset of a significant increase in operating and fulfilment costs;
- Matchday: A reduction of matchday profits is forecasted to include increased operating costs and a reduction of income anticipated due to the cost of living challenges;
- Business and stadium operations: There has been an increase in annual expenditure due to supplier increases (IT support / licences/ printing / stationery / uniform / travel costs).
Medium-term strategy
An update of the medium-term strategy was presented by the executive alongside refined key seasonal objectives. These were approved by the board, subject to minor amendments.
Fan Led Review/ Golden Share
An update relating to the club's work on the Fan Led Review, Golden Share and Fan Engagement Strategy was presented and approved. More details on this can be found HERE.
Football update
A presentation from Jez George and Mark Kennedy was delivered relating to the game model and match performance indicators. Alongside this, a review of the summer transfer window and planned activity until the close of the window was also discussed.
Future dates
Finally, dates of meetings for 2024 were discussed and agreed upon, including the AGM, which will take place on Thursday 8 February 2024.
